I never intended to start a business.
All I wanted was something for myself after having a baby - something creative that was just about me in a life where my existence entirely revolved around a tiny person.
I had wanted a baby for about a decade but it wasn't the right time. Truth be told I thought she'd fill a void. Instead she showed me I had work to do on myself and that included attending to my creative needs.
Printmaking gives me an enormous sense of self, the world and how I express my feelings. The carving process helps me focus on the moment instead of stressing about the long list of jobs that never seems to get shorter and the inking brings much loved colour into the day.
Creating artwork, I get to decide on my own perspective and show how I see things or want things to be. It's a form of communication where I don't have to talk and I can speak to people's emotions. I connect with people who either see the world like me or want to. It's pretty amazing really.

Coastal Lino Print Workshops
The coast features heavily in my own prints so it only seems right to offer the opportunity for you to create you own gorgeous seascapes.
In this 2 hour session I take you through my process from sketching out a design to carving and printing with your block. You’ll print up to 8 prints, each time refining your skill and tweaking colour combinations to explore this fabulous process your way.
Whether you’ve tried Lino print before or not, this workshop is a wonderful experience and an opportunity to destress and meet other creative minded people from the area.

Print Your Own Tote Group Workshop
Grab your mates and celebrate with this creative Lino print session.
You’ll be guided to design, carve and print your own coastal Lino prints in the inspiring surroundings of The Peacock & The Printmaker studios.
You’ll leave feeling restored and inspired with your reusable print block and a bespoke bag to use over and over again.

One to One Linocut Masterclass
These one to one workshops offer you two hours of time with experience Lino printmaker, Heather Moore, in her studio at B Box studios. Choose from a floral or coastal theme and print on paper or a tote bag - the choice is up to you.
What you come away with?
A bespoke floral print tote bag or 8 to 10 prints
Your Lino block.
Knowledge of how to create more prints in the future.

Full Day Lino Reduction Print Group Workshop
Coming soon, this day of creativity takes you through my tried and tested method of creating a beautiful reduction print. I’ll guide you through creating your design and planning your layers so that can use multiple colours and one block to achieve a joyful print.
This day includes a light lunch at a local cafe or restaurant and hot drinks throughout the day.
