Taking inspiration from the nearby North East coast, Heather Moore creates joyful Lino prints - often using reduction methods. She layers oil based inks to create a sense of the sea as she sees it and as it makes her feel.
Exploring the idea that the sea can be both a calming influence and overwhelming force, she has become ever obsessed with the way waves lap over each other leaving behind small treasures to tell a story.
Metallics often make an appearance to add a sense of lustre, light and even more fun!
