Each of the unique collages in this mini collection has been created using sections from misprints of my original lino print Birch Trees in Bluebell Woods. Rather than discard the imperfect prints, I carefully cut, shaped, and layered selected areas, composing them into new one-off pieces mounted and ready to frame.
The original artwork was inspired by the quiet magic of walking through birch woods carpeted with bluebells - a fleeting moment in spring when dappled light filters through pale trunks and the air feels alive with colour. These collages capture that same sense of depth and renewal, with layers echoing the rhythm of trees and the shimmer of petals beneath them.
Each piece is completely individual, celebrating the beauty of reimagining and giving new life to something once set aside.
